CHAPTER 1: THE FIGHT

Reina arrived at Emiloth. Her eyes wander throughout the scenery of the station. “Amazing. Simply…amazing.” Why it is a place far away from her place, have an immensely stunning structure. Everything about this place is pure modern and of course far more advanced than her place, Saifor. The glow of tall buildings, the pavement and the people. Each and every one of them is carved with peaceful and joyful smiles. As she walks along the street’s avenue, tall trees are swaying together with the winds, dried brownish leaves dance in between. The children running around the path as their mother watch from afar. Reina gives her a quick smile and the lady smiles back at her. Reina then reach a road where the pavement changed colour and pattern. She smiles. Luckily for her, the Air Tryll station is not far from the Land Tryll. She can just walk from there.

The arrival gate is humongous. It’s more of an arc shape with the glowing aura of Crymallium, the Leix. Observing the area around her, the station resembles Emiloth true colour. Lying on the tracks is one big Land Tryll. This Tryll transport people through land with moderate speed. Land Tryll is only being used to travel in Emiloth only. Saifor doesn’t have this contraption unfortunately. Then again, Saifor is not as big as Emiloth so it’s normal for people to walk or just ride a horse. Despite the advanced technologies in Emiloth, Reina never complain about the situation back at home. For her, it’s an escape to nature.

As she walks towards the ticket booth, she heard a clanking and somehow banging sound coming from the Land Tryll. She turns around. It seems like there are few men working on the Tryll. She then approaches the ticket seller.
“Excuse me, one ticket to Majesty Academy please” she request. “Sure hun, but see those men over there?” she points at those workers. “Can’t tell when they will finish. The check-up takes longer than usual this time. They’ve been working on it for hours. Late behind schedule I tell you. The chief’s getting furious.” she then points at the short man with a big stomach near the worker’s tent.
“Looks like he’s getting impatient. Is it okay to leave him like that? Won’t there be trouble?” Reina ask as soon as she heard the chief started yelling at the tired workers. “Nah, leave him be. The security will secure him if they started pounding on each other. Besides, the workers are under the Majesty power. He wouldn’t dare to even touch their hair!” she chuckled as though this event happens few times already. “Anyway, here’s your ticket. Do something to fill your time hun, you’re gonna need it” Reina thank her as she gives the ticket.

“There must be something wrong with the Leix” she finds herself a seat near the workers. “I need to see this” Reina then opens her book regarding the Crymallium and the inventions created by it. The clanging and banging sound irritates her. Wondering what is it that they’re desperately forcing to respond. According to the book, Leix is a powerful aura created by the Crymallium. The Crymallium itself can be in a form of crystals but in a very rare occasion. At some point, the Leix is what moves the Tryll, be it Air, Land or Sea Tryll. But none states how the Leix is being drawn out from the Crymallium. Hopefully she would learn it this year. But still, it disturbs her. “Wasn’t Leix supposed to be pulled out with a chanting? Or maybe with less force?” She sighs. Not knowing something is one her great disappointment. “Need to ask Hannah for this. She might know something. Well, she’s always one step ahead of me” she mumbled and sighs again. Reina just can’t wait to meet them again, Hannah, Liz, Mimie and Ana.

“I wonder what they’ve been up to while waiting for me” she mumbled again as she took out their picture from her purse. She’s supposed to arrive at Majesty Academy now but guess her friends have to wait. Suddenly, the clanging and banging sound started to get on everyone’s nerve. It sounded as if they’re trying to destroy whatever it is inside the engine room. Most of the people around the waiting area suddenly get up from their sits and started to whispers among themselves. Few men approach the workers tent asking if everything’s alright. But the securities kindly ask them to leave to avoid any intrusion. Luckily the people obeyed and move away from the tent. But one man is ever so stubborn. The chief.

“Blast you workers! You’re putting my business into jeopardy. These people have waited long enough for the damn thing to move!” the chief somehow burst again. His action brings few furious impatient people to begin a protest. They yell and start to disturb the workers. “Why can’t they see that the workers are trying hard to work on the engine?” Few of the workers too started to fight back the protestors including the chief himself. Securities are running from every corner of the station to stop the arguments. Women and children are backing away and so does Reina. Now, more people are joining in the protest. From mouth to mouth arguments, it’s getting aggressive. The tired workers then started to throw wet towels on the protestor and soon it turns into a battlefield. There’s kicking and punching all over the group of mad men. Others start to run away from the scene, and Reina starts to run to the ticket seller lady.

“I think now is the best time to call the Majesty don’t you think?!” Reina yells and the lady gives her a quick nervous nod. She then reach for the phone and dials the authority. “Hello! The Majesty! We have code red here in Land Tryll station at Mbroia. The people are killing each other! And so does your workers!” Reina wasn’t able to budge from the booth as her eyes scrolls at the sight. One of the workers is bleeding and none come to his aid. Suddenly a little girl starts to approach the clash between the workers and the protestor.

The girl is crying and yelling at her daddy. “Daddy! Where are you?! I’m scared…Daddy!” Reina dash off to pull the girl away from the horrific scene. “Don’t go near them!” she shouted but somehow the girl didn’t listen. Reina manage to grab her hand and lift her away from the place. Suddenly few men grab her shoulder and pushed both Reina and the little girl into the midst of the fight. “Aaahh!” the girl yelled. Reina hold the girl tight as she tried to escape the scene. Reina shrugs and avoid any clashing between the people. Unfortunately, Reina got kick in her back. The girl fall from her arms. Reina moans and tried to hold the pain. Her eyes reluctantly search for the little girl. The people are fighting blindly. They don’t even know whom their hitting. “Ugh..This is bad” she thought. Reina then spot the girl. She’s lying unconsciously.

Reina starts to crawl to her and lift her again, tightly this time. But the push and pull among the fighters drains her energy. Reina then got hit on the head. “Argh!” she yelled and finally stumbles on her feet.

The girl is still in her arms unharmed from the hit. Reina’s falling but suddenly a hand reaches out to her and softens her landing.

“Miss! Are you okay!?” a man saved her. She’s not able to make out his face as she started to lose consciousness. All she could hear is siren and that the fight is breaking off. “Hey! Stay with me!” Her eyes can’t stand it anymore.
“It’s okay. You’re safe now..” The man’s face then turns vague and Reina finally shut her eyes.
